Analysis derived from public PSREF specifications

Editorial Notes

The E14 Gen 6 brings Core Ultra to the budget ThinkPad line. The 2.2K display option is a welcome upgrade over previous gen base panels. DDR5 SODIMM slots provide upgrade flexibility unusual at this price point.

Known Issues

Plastic chassis feels less premium than T-series. No Ethernet port. The E-series service manual suggests less robust hinge mechanism than T-series.

Swiss Market

Entry-level Core Ultra ThinkPad in Switzerland. Available under CHF 900 for base configurations at Digitec. Strong value for students and SMEs.
