Editorial Notes

The 2023 Gen 8 AMD was the model that put the IdeaPad Pro on the map for value-conscious creators. The Ryzen 7 7745HX with Zen 4 and a 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display delivered near-workstation performance in a slim consumer chassis. A landmark generation for the series.

Known Issues

The 7745HX is a 55W HX-class chip — thermal management in the slim chassis means fans are audible under sustained loads. Ensure adequate ventilation for prolonged creative workloads.
