The L14 Gen 4 updates the fleet favourite to 13th Gen Intel while retaining the practical dual SODIMM DDR4 slots and built-in Ethernet. It remains the lowest-cost entry to a current-gen ThinkPad experience.

DDR4 in a 2023 model feels dated. The base display options are adequate but unremarkable. Chassis flex is slightly more noticeable than T-series.
