Editorial Notes

The P14s Gen 5 pairs Core Ultra with optional NVIDIA RTX 500 Ada in a 14-inch form factor. The lightest ISV-certified workstation in the ThinkPad lineup. The 2.8K OLED option provides excellent colour accuracy for portable creative work.

Known Issues

The RTX 500 Ada is entry-level — adequate for CAD but not heavy 3D rendering. Soldered LPDDR5x means no RAM upgrade. Battery life drops noticeably when using the discrete GPU.

Swiss Market

Appeals to Swiss architects and engineers who travel to client sites. ISV certification gives IT departments confidence for professional software deployments.

Linux

Lenovo-certified. Dual-GPU (Intel + NVIDIA) requires PRIME configuration on Linux. Intel-only operation is simpler.
