Editorial Notes
The T14s Gen 5 Intel brings Core Ultra (Meteor Lake) to the slim T-series. The NPU adds future AI capabilities while the 2.8K OLED option at 120 Hz matches the X1 Carbon's display quality. At 1.24 kg it's one of the lightest T-series models.
Soldered LPDDR5x means the RAM choice is permanent. The Core Ultra 7 155U at 15W TDP limits sustained multi-core — adequate for business use but not demanding development. First-gen Core Ultra can have occasional firmware rough edges.
Competitive pricing vs the X1 Carbon Gen 12 in Switzerland. The OLED model offers premium display quality at T-series pricing. Strong availability at Digitec and Brack.
Lenovo-certified for Ubuntu. Meteor Lake requires kernel 6.6+ for full support. The Arc iGPU works with i915/Xe driver. NPU not yet widely utilised on Linux.
