The budget workhorse of the ThinkPad lineup. Dual SODIMM DDR4, built-in Ethernet, and a competitive price make it the fleet favourite. Build quality is a step below T-series but the keyboard remains excellent.

The base FHD TN panel is poor — insist on the IPS upgrade. Chassis flex is slightly more noticeable than T-series under pressure.
